Some of my FaVorites

I was thinking about what lives in my pantry and in my body. I am always in search for the most nutrient rich foods that are going to provide me with the best return. I thought this might help some of you if you are anything like me "ViSual" when you are out shopping. Most everything I buy is from HEB or Whole Foods or Costco. I will make the occasional quarterly run to the vitamin shop for protein powder.

Some Items I Love but do not have pictures of are:
*Organic Frozen blueberries from the Pacific North West they are at Costco for $10.99 for a very large (should last you forever) bag
*Ginger HEB has those squeezable bottles of it for $3.00
*Kashi Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Cookies :( I have not been able to find these at there usual spot at HEB I am very sad about this as I used to cherish them as a treat
* Spring Mix (Organic) Central Market version I buy at HEB the large one is $3.99 (usually cheaper than the small one?) I have thought about going away from this version and just buying various different lettuce but have found that you get all the kinds you need (Swiss Chard, Cabbage, Romaine, Red tip etc in this one tight easy package - so I for now I am sticking with it.
*Almonds / Walnuts ( I buy the very big bag at Costco for $10 which last a long time)

Beets

Cabbage

Swiss Chard

Cinnamin (i used this all of the time and LoVe It!)

Pomegranate Juice

Pumpkin Seeds and Canned

Frozen Blueberries

Tumeric (I use this spice daily)

Dried Plums (prunes)

Let's Eat...

Power Oatmeal (don't forget the cinnamin or the blueberries)

Spinach Egg Omlett (sprinkle in some tumeric)

After omlett drink -OJ, Acai and wheat grass mixed

Before workout ate 3 prunes (weight training)

Protein Shake (Hello pumpkin and swiss chard...I just blended the normal recipe adding a few sprigs of swiss chard) not bad don't turn your head till you try it)

Turkey rolls and spring mix

Salmon topped with sliced oranges with cream cheese mixed with salsa and broccoli

6 out of 9 not too bad.
